San Francisco Consulate General holds Mother's Day reception with performances

San Francisco, May 10 (People’s Daily Online) - Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco hosted a Mother's Day Reception with various performances on May 10, 2014.

More than two hundred guests from San Francisco Bay Area attended the reception. Mrs. Wang Fang, wife of Consul General Yuan Nansheng said that Chinese and Chinese American women in the Bay Area have been upholding the traditional Chinese virtues of being kind and caring, hardworking and brave, and have been playing a unique role in promoting culture exchanges and building relationships between China and the United States. She hoped Chinese women in the Bay Area would draw a more splendid picture for the China-US relations.
