Yang Le

Yang Le, born in 1939 in Nantong, east China's Jiangsu Province, is a famous Chinese mathematician.

He is also an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and a research fellow of the Academy of Mathematics and System Sciences of the CAS.

In the 1970s, he studied the relation between deficient values and borel directions of entire and meromorphic functions. In cooperation with another Chinese mathematician Zhang Guanghou, he first discovered and established the detailed relation between these two basic concepts.

He also made many other important achievements.
