Sci-Tech Experts Meet in Shanghai to Discuss Chinese Agriculture

More than 100 agricultural experts are meeting in Shanghai to discuss urban agriculture and modernization.Topics of discussion include the use of technology in the construction of modern agricultural parks, the impact of urban agriculture on the environment as well as what effects China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) will have on agriculture.

The three-day seminar, which started on November 25, is sponsored by the Chinese Association of Agro-science Societies, the Jiu San Society and local agricultural societies and institutions in Shanghai.
