Education Guangzhou Technology Fair for Overseas Chinese Students

The second technology exchange fair for Chinese studying overseas opened on November 28 in Guangzhou, the capital of south China's Guangdong Province.

The three-day event is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Guangzhou municipal government.

More than 800 Chinese students studying in 26 countries and regions including the United States, Canada and Japan will bring about 500 investment projects and high-tech results with potential for industrialization to the fair which is aimed at promoting domestic and international technology exchange.

At the same time, over one hundred colleges, research institutes, investment companies, and high-tech enterprises from home and abroad will attend the fair.

The fair will focus on electronic information, bio-engineering, medicine, new materials, and environmental protection industries.
