Sports Macao to Host World Women's Volleyball GP in August

Macao will host the 2000 World Women's Volleyball Grand Prix from August 4 to 6, according to sources with the Sports Institute of the Macao Special Administrative Region.

Four teams from China, Brazil, the United States and Japan will compete in the Macao leg.

The World Women's Volleyball Grand Prix this year will last four weeks at six legs. In addition to the first leg in Macao, volleyball matches will be staged in locations including China, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines

The final contests will be held in the Philippines from August 24 to 27. (Xinhua)
