Culture China Establishes Photo Data Bank for Babies

China's first photo databank of babies was set up here today, with pictures of 25 babies born in 2000 from 25 Chinese cities starting the collection.

Sponsored by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), the photo bank is meant to encourage Chinese media to use more pictures of Chinese infants in publicity work.

The ACWF will invite experts to appraise baby photos, and recommend the best ones to the data bank.
