Kim Jong Il Visits Chinese Embassy in DPRK

Kim Jong Il, General Secretary of the Korean Workers' Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Korean National Defense Committee and Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army, at the invitation of Wan Yongxiang, Chinese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), visited the Chinese Embassy in Pyongyang on the evening of March 5 , where he was accorded warm and friendly reception by the embassy staff.

General Secretary Kim Jong Il and Ambassador Wan Yongxiang, in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, talked freely about Korean-Chinese friendship, both sides expressed satisfaction with the constant development of the friendly relationship between the two countries.

Accompanying the General Secretary in his visit were also Korean Party, government and military leaders.
