Double Planets Surround the Moon Tonight

According to the report of Yangtse Evening News, an astronomical scene of the moon encircled by planets can be viewed in China this evening. Bright Jupiter and Saturn will hang around and protect the crescent like patron saints.

Astronomer said that Jupiter and Saturn are two planets, the biggest in volume and weight in the solar system. Jupiter is famous for its bright-colored stripes and big red spots running parallel to the equator. Saturn is noted for its florid rings. March 10 is the fifth day in the lunar calendar. The moon is crescent and thin. After dark, Jupiter and Saturn will appear simultaneously, north to the crescent moon. The distance between the three celestial bodies is almost the shortest. The beautiful scene can be seen by naked eyes in fine night.
