Show-and-tell Time Exposes Pseudo-science

China has had an exhibition to show the dangers of pseudo-scientific beliefs and cults at the Revolutionary Military Museum in Beijing in recent days. The major focus of the exhibition is a photo and multimedia display on the danger of Falun Gong.

The exhibition has drawn large crowds of visitors since its first day. This came as somewhat of a surprise to the organizers, who expected that there would be only three or four thousand people daily.

Xu Donghui (Exhibition organizer) Said: "We underestimated the enthusiasm of the people. There are now far more than ten thousand people on a daily basis. And, we've decided to extend it for a week, after which we'll move it to other cities around the country."

Many people in Beijing have said the exhibition is a must-see on the weekend. The show's documents, photos, and TV documentaries provide a great deal of information.

Visitor Said: "I liked the exhibition because it clearly exposes the activities of cults around the world. I learned how these cults deceive people and it can help us take precautions against these things."

Even, in this hi-tech age, it seems that the pseudo-scientific ideas of yesterday are making a comeback in some parts of the world, and scientists agree that the best way to deal with these superstitions is to provide more information on science and technology.
