Exhibit of Social Science Journals Opens

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) Thursday staged its largest exhibition ever of social science journals.

As China's top think tank, the CASS manages a total of 80 academic journals which cover most of the social sciences.

At the opening ceremony this morning for the one-month-long exhibition, Jiang Lansheng, vice president of the CASS, said that these journals help push forward progress in social sciences in China.

In September last year, the CASS presented top awards to eight journals, including China Social Sciences, Economics Research, Law Research, Philosophy Research, Archaeology, Chinese Language, Literary Heritage, and East Europe and Central Asia Studies.

The State Press and Publication Administration also listed China Social Sciences, Economics Research, and Law Research among the best national journals.

According to CASS officials, the quality of the academy's journals has been greatly improved to meet the new requirements of readers.
