Housing Website Joins China.com

A Chinese website catering to people's housing needs signed an agreement with www.china.com to become partners.

The www.anjia.com website offers information and consultation on where to buy or rent houses, how to design and furnish homes, and as well as reviews on daily consumer items.

According to the agreement, the anjia website will become the " housing channel" for China.com and the Chinese version of www.aol. com.

Xu Yiqun, technology supervisor of China.com, said that the partnership will bring about more registered users for the China. com, with more Chinese buying houses.

Since 1997, housing sales in China's major cities has risen by an annual rate of 50 percent.
