Yunnan Uncovers Illegal Wildlife Sales

China's Honghe Border police uncovered two cases involving illegal sales of 126 cobras and 25 turtles recently in the southern part of southwest China's Yunnan Province.

The cobra has been listed among the first-class of wild animals under national protection, and the cobras and turtles will be returned to the wild, said police officials.

Yunnan shares its southern border with Vietnam and Laos.
