Explosions Rock Police Headquarters in Manila

Two explosions rocked the Philippine National Police headquarters at Camp Crame in Manila early Sunday, but no one was hurt, police said.

Officials at the police operation center said an unidentified suspect was believed to have fired outside the camp rocket propelled grenades which hit trees near the parking lot, some 50 meters away from the house where Police Director General Panfilo Lacson resides.

They said that the explosives went off almost simultaneously at 04:05 a.m. local time (20:05 GMT Saturday).

No one was injured but several cars on the parking lot were hit, they added.
