Airforce Hands Over 26 Air Routes to Civil ManagementChina's air transportation system will undergo a new big restructuring: there will be 26 air routes of the country's air force to be handed over to civil management since June 30, as is reported from the Central and South China Airlines Administration.Reliable sources say full preparations like working out detailed rules and regulations, building necessary projects and construction of installations and related facilities have already been underway in a bid to realize smooth transfer and safe aviation of the air routes decided. Most arduous will be the task devolving onto the Central and South China Airlines Administration for it has to tackle 11 lines out of the 26 airforce lines to be transferred from a restructuring of the management system of civil aviation specified. Central and South China Airlines Administration Director Zhang Lizhi has been quoted as saying that the reform has been designed as a move toward national unified control on freight air routes and will meet the maximum demand for development of aviation transportation in China. Meanwhile, an easy and reasonable atmosphere conducive to management of freight air routes will be created to lay a solid foundation for less delay, gaining more profits and developing the use of airplanes by individuals. |
