First Int'l Hospital Set Up in Southwest China

Sichuan International Hospital, the first of its kind in southwest China, was established in Chengdu on June 14.

The 5,000-square-meter hospital, located in the NO. 1 Hospital Attached to Huaxi Medical Sciences University, aims to provide better medical care for foreign friends, overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Doctors, nurses and other employees of the hospital can speak English, Japanese, German, or French.
