Heads of Major News Media to Visit DPRK Aug. 5

ROK official news agency Yonhap reports on July 19 that Presidents of major news media in South Korea will go to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on Aug. 5 for an eight-day visit, ruling party sources said Wednesday.

A member of the ruling Millennium Democratic Party said some 50 presidents of newspapers and broadcasting corporations will visit the North at the invitation of DPRK leader Kim Jong-il.
