China Produces First Self-Made Polyester Production Line
The first China-made polyester production line was installed in Yizheng Friday, near this capital of east China's Jiangsu Province.
The equipment was developed by the Nanjing Chemical Industry Company, a local official source said, adding that the related department has concluded that the quality of the production line has reached the international advanced level, but is 60 percent cheaper than current foreign models.
According to the source, China already has some 60 polyester production lines, and all of them were imported from abroad.
