More Macao Students to Study Master, Doctor Courses in Inland

A total of 230 Macao Students have passed examinations to study master's and doctor's courses at 27 institutions of higher learning in the inland areas of China.

Last year, 207 Macao students managed to study master's and doctor's courses at 20 institutions of higher learning in the inland areas, according to a press release issued Tuesday by the Macao Foundation, organizer of the examinations.

Twenty-eight of the students this year are going to study doctoral courses. The number of doctoral students was 15 last year.

The recruited students will receive their admission notices within this month. And those in poor family conditions can submit scholarship applications to the Macao Foundation.

This is the seventh consecutive year that the foundation helps China's Ministry of Education recruit students from Macao.

Examinations for the recruitment was held in April this year.
