Macao SAR Government to Set up Office in Beijing
An office of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) government will be set up in Beijing to enhance the ties between the central and SAR governments.
According to the latest issue of the Macao SAR Government Bulletin, the office is aimed at promoting the SAR's economic, cultural, business, training and tourism activities.
A preparatory committee has been organized to manage work such as planning personnel structure, working out office regulations and selecting candidates of the staff.
Local government sources said that office is expected to be officially established early next year.
