Beijing Universities Enrolls More Students from Taiwan, Macao, Hong Kong

The top 43 universities in this national capital enrolled 564 postgraduate students for the autumn semester from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

The universities include the prestigious Beijing University and Qinghua University.

Among the students, 146 are from Hong Kong, 278 from Macao and 140 from Taiwan.

One hundred and thirty-seven of them are enrolled in doctoral courses, an increase of 53.9 percent from last year. The other 427 are enrolled in masters courses, up 59.3 percent.
