AIEC to Be Established in East China City

An internet evaluation center consisting of professionals from major Asian countries and the United States will be established this year in Hangzhou, capital city of east China's Zhejiang province.

The Asia Internet Evaluation Center (AIEC) will be responsible for evaluating E-commerce plans, merge plans and fund-raising plans of internet companies and websites in Asia.

Ji Yue, head of AIEC, said that the purpose of organizing such a center is to recommend competent and potential websites to major global investment agencies and in turn promote the development of internet industry in Asia.
