South Korean Pianist to Perform in Beijing

On the evenings of September 13th and 14th South Korean pianist Bai Jianyu will give solo performances at Beijing's Century Theatre.

The program will include Brahms'Symphonie No.2, Grieg's Piano Concertos and Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No.3.

The pianist, who is famous for his performances of Ravel's work, has performed all of that composer's musical scores in Berlin, London, Paris and Seoul.

Born in Seoul, Bai Jianyu attended the Julliard School of Music in New York and then continued his studies in London and Italy. He now lives in Paris.
