Shenzhen Police Break over 1000 Crime Gangs

The Shenzhen Public Security Bureau has cracked more than 2000 cases, arrested more than 3400 suspects and broken more than 1000 crime gangs in its "100 days crackdown."

Since late June, the Shenzhen police have mobilize more than 10,000 officers in its "100 days crackdown" to wipe out the triad gangs, arrest criminals on the run and crack cases which have neglected. Not long ago, a man who committed murder in Qinghai eight years ago changed his name and fled to Shenzhen was finally caught by the Nanshan region Sihai police station.

On August 28, a group of robbers committed a crime in Kuichong, ditched their car and fled to the mountains. The Kuichong police station quickly mustered all its police force and surrounded the area. The three criminals were caught and two motorcycles and a large amount of stolen goods were confiscated.

Overall, the Shenzhen police have also uncovered more than 10,000 grams of heroin, guns and ammunition, and more than 1,000 cars and motorcycles.
