Singapore to Help Macao SAR Train Civil Servants

Singapore has agreed to help train civil servants of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), a senior Macao SAR official said Friday.

The Civil Service College of Singapore and the Public Administration and Civil Services of Macao signed a memorandum of understanding concerning the cooperation of civil servant training in Singapore on Thursday.

Florinda da Rosa Silva Chan, secretary for administration and justice of the Macao SAR government, who made a five-day visit to Singapore, noted that the two sides will work out the contents of training programs in the near future.

Civil servants of Macao can go for studies in Singapore, or Singaporean teachers may be invited to give lectures here, she added.
