Shanghai Holds 2000 Souvenir Expo
The 2000 Shanghai Souvenir Exposition was opened October 19 in Shanghai.
The exposition, covering over 6,000 square meters of floor space, will exhibit souvenirs from China and foreign countries,
including Czech, Spain and South Africa. The Italian Chamber of Commerce had brought 270 pieces of handicrafts for exhibition.
An official with the organizing committee of the exposition disclosed that some of the souvenirs had been chosen as government gifts to foreign guests.
