Chinese Police Uncover Drug Trafficking Ring

The Chinese police have uncovered a drug trafficking ring consisting of 14 members and, seized 2,110 ecstasy tablets, known in China as "head-rocking pills."

The gang was caught recently after police in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, arrested a drug trafficker in August.

With the confessions of the man, policemen got information that a drug trafficking ring in Shenzhen in southern China had brought drugs into Harbin many times.

In the following weeks, the police laid traps to catch the gangsters and finally seized all members of the ring in the two cities.

The police said drug traffickers have also been engaged in illegal activities for a long time in the cities of Mudanjiang, Beijing and Guangzhou.
