Nine Rifles Confiscated in a Nonstop Passenger Bus in Guangxi

Police in Pingnan County, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, confiscated nine rifles and 265 bullets in a bus.

While inspecting the express passenger bus in the Zhenlong Toll Station at 2 a.m. on November 3, police officers ferreted out the rifles and the bullets in a bag and arrested three suspects, namely, Lai Chuanjian and Qiu Weiliang from Gunangdong Province, and Feng Bin from Hunan Province.

The suspects confessed that they smuggled the guns into China from Vietnam on November 1. The case is now under investigation.
