Chinese Team Assured of Odds in Asian Youth U19

The 32nd Asian Youth U19 Soccer Championships opened Nov. 12 in Teheran, Iran. For Kuwaiti team refused to be in the same group with Iraqi team young Chinese football players have to fight it out with their old opponent ROK team November 13 since having been regrouped under Group B with ROK, United Arab Emirates, Pakistani, and Iraqi teams.

This poses without doubt odds against which the Chinese soccer team has to gear up for Asian Olympic qualifier contests all the way through in the championships.

Altogether 10 teams are reported to fight in the championships. Top two of each group will represent Asia in the coming year's World Youth Championships in Argentine. The Chinese Football Association places great hopes on the Chinese team for this is the most important soccer match held this year. Though CFA raises no specific demands the young Chinese football players still have to set great store by qualifiers in order to make themselves eligible to new championships the coming year.
