Beijing to Host Workshops on Investment and Open-ended Funds

Beijing will host international workshops on investment funds and open-ended securities investment funds between November 24-27.

Legislators, officials and experts from the National People's Congress, the Ministries of Finance, the Chinese Securities Regulatory Commission, the China International Capital Corporation, the Industry and Commerce Bank of China, the Boshi Fund Management Co., the Bank of China International and other leading financial institutions from home and abroad will take part in the workshops.

Participants will hold extensive discussions on the operation and risk management of industrial investment funds and open-ended securities investment funds in China.

The workshops, organized by the China Fund Forum, have attracted widespread attention among industrial sources and the public, as China is expected to issue its first law on industrial investment funds and its first batch of open-ended securities investment funds by the end of the year.
