"Sigh" Won Best Prize at Int'l Film Festival
Directed by Feng Xiaogang, "Heave a Sigh", a domestic film probing into the innermost world of man and woman in extramarital affair, has carried away five big awards, including the highest title of the "Best Film" in the 24th Cairo International Film Festival just concluded November18.

Chinese actor and actress Zhang Guoli and Xu Fan have been awarded with the title "Best Actor" and "Best Actress" for their excellent performances, while the "Best Playwright" went to Wang Shuo, a popular Chinese novelist of contemporary times. Besides, a little girl named Wu Xu has left a deep impression on the festival committee by her vivid performance and been given a special award for encouragement.

The Cairo International Film Festival, being an annual event, is one of the world famous film festivals. Under the theme of "Romance", it was opened November 7 and 121 films from 48 countries had been shown there, of which 15 were candidate ones.
