Four members of an anti- government armed group were killed and 14 were arrested by the police in a fierce fire-exchange in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh early Friday Morning, police said.

More than 20 members of the so-called "Free Vietnam" penetrated into Phnom Penh on Thursday evening. The police searched the whole city for the armed group, discovered and surrounded them at a nearby train station. The armed group resisted and exchanged fire with the police. The fighting lasted for a half hour and extended to other streets in Phnom Penh near the train station.

Seven police officers were injured during the fire-exchange. The police were searching the remanent members of the armed group who were trying to flee for the border area in the north, according to the police sources.
