National Cable TV Network to Be United By Year EndXu Guangchun, Minister of State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, recently disclosed that China Radio & Television Cable Network Group, a group that integrates nationwide cable TV network assets, would be founded at the end of this year.Three years ago, Radio, Film & Television Information Network Center, an affiliate of State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, set up China Radio & TV Co. Ltd. with registered capital of 50 million yuan to specially undertake the construction of television network. State Administration of Radio, Film and Television planned to reorganize the company into China Radio & Television Cable Network Group by making use of the license it has obtained and the network assets of various provinces it has purchased.
