Hua Du Hotel Granted Honorary Title
Hua Du Hotel was granted the China National "Best of Hotel" Award of February by the NearChina International Tourism Organization composed of over 200 travel agencies from Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Located in the downtown area of Beijing with a refreshing environment, Hua Du Hotel is easy of access and adjacent to the embassy area. Built in a traditional style, Hua Du is installed with modern service facilities and operating under a computerized management system. The hotel offers quality service, so as to make guests always feel at home. It was cited as the Best Service Hotel of Beijing in 1999.
Early this year, Hua Du Hotel was upgraded to a four-star hotel from the previous three-star due to its excellent service and rich experience in receiving foreign guests. "Actually, service is not graded in accordance with quality," said Zuo Xiang, General Manager of Hua Du Hotel.
Since early February this year, Hua Du has carried out a series of quality service and sales promotion activities, such as one-hour use of the Internet, a breakfast and one round of bowling--all free of charge. At the same time, it has put off the checkout time to 2:00, p.m. while offering foreground individual guests excellent service. Meanwhile Hua Du Hotel, seizing the opportunity of the Spring Festival holiday economy, has launched various dieting activities during the "Food Month" designed to greet the new springtime, such as "New Spring Family Feast Series", "Spring Pancake and Sweet Dumplings Series", Sale Exhibition Week of Beijing, Shanxi and Sichuan Snacks, "Candlelight Valentine's Day Meal", etc. These activities not only have brought the Hotel good profits but also have won applause of the guests.

Zuo also said that Hua Du Hotel would hold diversified, more preferential sales promotion activities this year and continue the catering activity well received by the guests. "We will introduce to our guests Chongqing Food Month, Chengdu Snack Festival, Shanxi Cooked Wheaten Food Festival at the 19th Anniversary of the Hotel, etc. to bring them fresher and purer food of local flavor," he said.
Finally, he stressed that the staff of Hua Du Hotel would, at their respective posts, treasure the reputation and try hard to provide better service to guests from all over the world, so as to lift Hua Du Hotel to a new stage of development.
