Chengdu To Host Spring Candy, Alcoholic Beverage Trade Fair

The 2001 China Spring Candy and Alcoholic Beverage Trade Fair is scheduled for March 21-25 in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province.

Preparations for the event are proceeding smoothly, with a large number of domestic and foreign enterprises expected to participate.

The fair is to be held in Chengdu International Conference and Exhibition Center, where the 2000 China Western Forum was held successfully.

The center will provide an exhibition area covering 60,000 square meters that may contain 3,000 seats.

Counting this event, so far China will have hosted 64 national candy and alcoholic beverage trade fairs.
