Voting for Election of New President Starts in Uganda

Voting for the election of a new president of Uganda.html target=_blank>Uganda among the six candidates started across the country at 7:00 a.m. (local time) on Monday.

Some 11.6 million registered voters will vote at 17,000 polling stations across the country.

A total of 165 international observers and 17,500 local observers have traveled to different parts of the country to monitor the polling.

The voting will end at 5:00 p.m. (local time) on Monday in line with the election law.
