Over 1m Taiwanese Visited "Qin Terra-cotta Exhibition"


Exhibition of Terracotta Warriors Closed in Taibei
March 9 witnessed a total of 1m Taiwan residents show up at the ongoing "Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Exhibition" in Taipei, hitting a historical record of visitor number for a single exhibition on the island.

As the exhibition was scheduled to end on March 11, many Taipei residents seized the last opportunity flocking to the History Museum of Taipei and waiting there in queue early in the morning. By midday, a schoolboy Jiang Minglong turned out the lucky 1mth visitor. In the recent two months or so, visitors to the exhibition have come more often than not up to 100,000 in an average of five to seven days.
