Chinese Vice-Premier Leaves Beijing for US Visit

Chinese Vice-Premier Qian Qichen left Beijing Sunday morning for a week-long visit to United States at the invitation of the US government.

Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan, Deputy Secretary General of the State Council Cui Zhanfu and other officials saw the Vice-Premier and his party off at the airport.
