Second Missing US Jet Wreckage Founded in Scotland

Rescue teams searching for the body of an American airman missing on a Scottish mountain have found the wreckage of a second jet.

The British Royal Air Force told BBC that the wreckage of the second aircraft was discovered at 17:00 hours (GMT) Wednesday and that it was lying some 400 yards or so from the wreckage of the first aircraft.

Two US F15 fighters disappeared while on a training mission Monday afternoon.

Search teams found the remains of one plane and the body of one of the pilots on Tuesday.

The search was continuing, however, poor weather conditions have been hampering the operation to find the other body near the summit of Ben Macdui, Scotland's second highest mountain.
