The first Sino-Japanese Packaging Hi-Tech and Product Fair will be held from April 22-25 in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, according to the China Packaging Technology Association (CPTA).

Under a cooperative agreement between CPTA and the Japanese Packaging Technology Association (JPTA), the first fair is composed of three part: technological exchanges, trade talks and the exhibition of products and pictures from Chinese and Japanese packaging enterprises.

The JPTA will organize 30 to 50 Japanese packaging enterprises to attend the fair, according to Guo Yang, deputy director of Professional Services Division of CPTA.

In collaboration with the China Packaging Company and the China Packaging Import and Export Company, CPTA will also sponsor the Second International Packaging Exhibition in China in November, a biennial event which is the largest of its kind in the country.
