Youngsters Back up Beijing's 2008 Olympic Bid

Altogether 2008 youngsters in Beijing will compete in their own way for a rope skipping Guinness record in support of the capital's 2008 Olympic bid. It is reported that the contest is to be launched June 10 in Beijing.

The organizer at a news briefing May 29 said that the 2008 youngsters will by their rope skipping show the Chinese people's determination and their confidence and the capability in hosting the 2008 Olympic Games.

And an Olympic bidding banner, with 2008 youngsters' fingerprints on, will also be sent to the IOC Headquarters soon after the contest.
