Leaders Join Civil Servants in Concert Marking Party's Anniversary

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji, Vice Premier Li Lanqing and other senior leaders Tuesday joined a group of civil servants in Beijing in a vocal concert marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Vice premiers, Qian Qichen and Wen Jiabao, Defense Minister Chi Haotian, State Councilor Wu Yi and other senior leaders also joined the concert held by the General Office of the State Council.

Together with over 500 officials and staff from the General Office, the leaders sang the song "Long March" and other popular songs that pay tribute to the CPC.
