13 Centenarians in Taiyuan City are all Women

A recent survey finds an interesting fact that 13 centenarians living in Taiyuan, the capital of north China's Shanxi Province, are all women.

The oldest centenarian, by the name of Zheng Jinyu, was born in February, 1892. Four of these centenarians live in rural areas and the rest in the city.

The common secret of their longevity is that they have all worked hard. Ma Shanxiang, who lives in Qingxu County, still did embroidery work at the age of 98 and leads a regular life.
