Expressway Opens to Traffic in East China

A 112-kilometer-long expressway, linking the Anhui provincial capital Hefei and the city of Bangbu in the province, opened to traffic Saturday.

The four-lane expressway is part of the national highway that runs from Beijing to Fuzhou, capital of Fujian Province in east China.

The construction of the expressway cost 2.24 billion yuan.
