Joint Puppet Show to be Performed by Across Straits TroupesAt the invitation of Taiwan's "Central Broadcasting Station", China Puppet Show Theatre will stage a joint performance with Hsiao Hsi Yuan Hand Puppet Troupe early August in Taipei.Taiwan 'Central News Agency' carried a report Thursday that it's the first time for China Puppet Show Theatre, established in 1955, to perform in this island province and the Theatre will play its forte --- The Little Mermaid, revised from Han Christian Andersen's fairy tale. In the meantime, Hsiao Hsi Yuan Hand puppets Troupe will bring audience traditional glove puppets.
