Chinese Wolfberry Fruit Fair Closes in Northwest China
The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China has reaped 2.104 billion yuan in contracted investment from a Chinese wolfberry fruit fair and an investment and trade promotion fair that closed in Yinchuan on August 12.
The total values of contracts, agreements and letters of intent signed during the twin fairs exceeded 13 billion yuan, the organizers said.
More than 200 scientists and researchers from home and abroad took part in academic sessions on the medical application of the Chinese wolfberry fruit, for which Ningxia is famous.
The events also attracted 1,900 investors and businessmen from worldwide.
The two events were jointly hosted by the Ningxia regional government and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
