Facts & Figures: China's Trade With APEC, EU, ASEANFollowing are the latest figures about China's trade with APEC, EU and ASEAN members from January to July, 2001, provided by the General Administration of Customs:-- China's trade with members of the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC): total, 208.653 billion US dollars, up 9.0 percent year-on-year; Exports, 106.486 billion US dollars, up 7. 2 percent; Imports, 102.167 billion US dollars, up 10.9 percent. -- China's trade with members of the European Union (EU): total, 43.288 billion US dollars, up 14.2 percent; Exports, 23.201 billion US dollars, up 8.8 percent; Imports, 20.087 billion US dollars up 21.1 percent. -- China's trade with members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN): total, 23.330 billion US dollars, up 10.5 percent; Exports, 10.179 billion US dollars, up 7.9 percent; Imports, 13.150 billion US dollars, up 12.6 percent. |
