Int'l Air Travel Increases in Holiday

International air routes of China Southern Airlines have become top sellers as more people in south China's Guangdong province are heading overseas for the upcoming National Day holiday.

To meet the growing demand, an extra flight from Guangzhou, the capital of the Province, to the United States has been added and it witnessed a high occupation rate, sources from the China Southern Airlines said.

Tickets for flights bound for Australia, Japan, South Korea and Europe are all sold out, said the sources, adding that this situation may continue until after the seven-day vacation, beginning October 1.

China Southern, a major civil aviation company, has 80 airliners and handles more than 200 domestic and international air routes.
