For Milutinovic, Stay or Leave Undecided

Yugoslav legendary coach Bora Milutinovic brushed aside the query whether he would continue to lead the Chinese side in the 2002 South Korea-Japan World Cup.

"I am so happy at this moment, to stay or leave is not important," said Milutinovic after he orchestrated China's 1-0 win over Oman Sunday night, the victory which secured China's first ever berth in the World Cup finals.

"We should make full preparations for the following two games against Qatar and Uzbekistan and I want to guide China to more victories," he added.

Milutinovic, who have guided five different countries to the World Cup finals since 1986, told Xinhua he was so excited to have helped China achieve the "ultimate goal" of qualifying for the world premier soccer event.

Milutinovic's contract with the Chinese Football Association (CFA) will end at the end of the World Cup qualifiers.

Chinese media guessed Milutinovic will likely be replaced by his Chinese assistant and Chinese youth team head coach Shen Xiangfu after the qualifiers.

Now Milutinovic seemed to concentrate on the remaining two games and didn't want to talk about contract.

"It's too early to talk about the things that should be mentioned in the World Cup finals," he said. "For me, what is the most important is to bring happiness to the whole Chinese people."
