Income Index of Major Chinese Regions: BeijingXinhua is releasing dispatches on major economic indicators of ten major Chinese regions in the first three quarters of this year.Following is the income situation for residents in Beijing in the first nine months of the year: The average disposable income for urban dwellers stood at 8,663.7 yuan (1,044 U.S. dollars), up 11.7 percent over the same period last year. The cash income for farmers averaged 4,346.2 yuan (523.64 U.S. dollars), up 14.2 percent. The ten regions include Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang,Henan, Liaoning, Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, and Chongqing. These regions make up the bulk of Chinese economy. |
