NEW DELHI, June 9 -- Indian President Pranab Mukherjee said Monday that India will continue to develop relations of strategic partnership with China.

In his address to the joint sitting of Parliament, the Indian president first named China as the country which India will develop close ties with.

He also said India will further develop ties with Japan, Russia and the United States.
